Liberty Life - Nicosia

In 1994, Liberty Life Insurance Public Co Ltd was established as a Private Limited Liability Company. It began operations in August of that year, providing life, accident, and health insurance services. With an administrative staff of qualified professionals and a sales network of over 100 insurance consultants, the company was then converted to a Public Company in 1995 in accordance with the Companies Law. In January 1996, Liberty Life Insurance Public Co Ltd applied for admission to the Cyprus Stock Exchange, and was accepted in March of the same year. As its turnover increased, Liberty Life Insurance Public Co Ltd gained a considerable share of the insurance market in the following years. In 2010, the majority of its shares were acquired by Elma Holdings, which has been the company's owner ever since.
